Cicada is located at the intersection of E Hennepin Ave and NE 2nd St in Minneapolis. (We are directly above The Times Bar & Restaurant – we are kitty-corner from Nye’s Polonaise Room)

> From the South and West: To get to Cicada from the South and West take I-94 east to I35W north. Exit at the University Ave/ 4th St ramp. Make a left onto 4th st, which is a one way. Take that a few blocks to Hennepin (which turns into a one way) and follow that approx 4 blocks, take a left on NE 2nd street. We are directly above The Times Bar & Restaurant – we are kitty-corner from Nye’s Polonaise Room. Our entrance is on 2nd street, however you can access our stairway by going through The Times Bar & Restaurant.

> From the North: To get to Cicada from the North take I 35W south to the University Ave/ 4th St exit. Make a right onto 4th street, which is a one way. Take that a few blocks crossing Central Ave to Hennepin, which is a one way. Take a left onto Hennepin. Follow Hennepin approx 2 blocks to NE 2nd St. and take a left we are on the left hand side of the street. We are directly above The Times Bar & Restaurant – we are kitty-corner from Nye’s Polonaise Room. Our entrance is on 2nd street, however you can access our stairway by going through The Times Bar & Restaurant.

> From the East: To get to Cicada from the East take I 94 west to Highway 280. Go North on 280 until you reach the Hennepin Ave exit. The ramp will dump you onto to NE Hennepin Ave heading towards downtown Minneapolis. Stay on Hennepin for approx. 20 blocks until it curves to the right at intersects with Central Ave. Cross Central Ave and stay on Hennepin approx 4 blocks to NE 2nd street. Take a left.. We are directly above The Times Bar & Restaurant – we are kitty-corner from Nye’s Polonaise Room. Our entrance is on 2nd street, however you can access our stairway by going through The Times Bar & Restaurant.

Parking: There is a municipal parking ramp on NE 2nd Street (with reasonable rates), and there are plenty of parking meters in the surrounding area. The meters are active M-Sat 8am-10pm.
